Pricing
Prices are charged per page of the source document in US dollars. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay, with no PayPal account required. All orders are prepaid, and translation begins once payment is confirmed.

Typical order costs
| A 2-page family register (koseki) | $49.90 |
| Three separate 1-page certificates −10% document-bundle discount applied | $67.37 |
| Five separate 1-page documents −15% document-bundle discount applied | $106.04 |
Totals are rounded to the nearest cent (half-up). The quote you receive is the final amount, with no added fees at checkout.
Volume discounts
Applied automatically to orders of multiple documents. Discounts are based on the number of separate documents rather than the page count; for example, a 3-page family register counts as one document.

Custom quotes
Long, handwritten, or non-standard documents (such as multi-page medical records or pre-1994 vertical-format family registers) are quoted individually before you commit. Orders requiring a notarized translator's affidavit (for IRCC in Canada and certain US state agencies) are also quoted individually and take 1–2 weeks, as they involve notarization in Japan and international postal delivery of the signed physical original. Send your documents through the order form and we will reply with one fixed total first.
Not included
- Apostille and consular legalization. We do not provide these services.
- Notarization. The standard deliverable is a certified translation with a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy; it is not notarized. A notarized translator's affidavit is available as an add-on, quoted individually (allow 1–2 weeks).
- Filing or submitting documents to any authority. We deliver the translation to you, and you submit it to the relevant agency.
Acceptance is always at the receiving authority's discretion. Check their written requirements before ordering, or send us their wording with your order and we will confirm what we can provide before you pay.
